Colls Take Three Points and Jump Two Places
Ponte Colls battled hard in a very tough encounter with a lively Askern Villa. Askern had the better of the 1st half and both teams had a couple of chances, but failed to capitalise. 2nd half Ponte were the better team and deservedly got their eventual winner, Ryan Williams trademark darting turning run with a shot on goal, of which the keeper did well to save, however only to parry out and unfortunately for him straight in to the path of Carl Fothergill who made no mistake in hitting the ball home. A good all round performance from every player on the field especially youngster Connor Rollinson in an out of usual position at right back. Askern Villa 0-1 Ponte Colls
