Hopefully in the next coming days the Colls will complete the signings of a couple of new players in time for next weeks game away to Grimsby.  Watch this space for updates.

ANOTHER NEW SIGNING.

Pontefract Collieries have completed the transfer of Scott Somerville from NCEL Premier League side Maltby Main.  Scott is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and will be a valuable asset to the Colls this season.  He has been played out of position so far this season and manager Simon Houghton wants him playing where he knows best as a striker and that will hopefully see him back in the goals.

COLLS SIGN STEPHENS.

Pontefract Collieries FC completed the signing of forward Craig Stephens.  Last season Craig scored 21 goals in the NCEL Premier League for Nostell MW. Manager Simon Houghton is delighted to have captured the signing of Craig and is also closing in another player from another NCEL Premier League and hopefully both players will be available for Saturdays game at Bottesford.
