An amazing day was had by all involved, with 15 teams competing in a brand new league just for people with learning difficulty’s. Our own Ponte Pirates had 2 teams entered, One in the 1st division and the other in the second division. Five matches were completed by the 1st division side and four played by the 2nd division side. We can tell you here at www.pontecolls.co.uk that our teams did very well and will definitely be up near the top of the league.
The results and league positions will appear on the West Riding County FA website and also here on this page very shortly. The day was well attended and well supported by members of Pontefract Collieries FC and many of the players carers and helpers.
