Pirates League
Ponte’s Pirates travelled to The Bradford Goals center to compete in football matches to enable grading of the teams to form the eagerly awaited FA sanctioned league.

The league will consist of three divisions, each of a different ability enabling players to realise their true footballing potential. The league is open to teams from all over the Yorkshire and Humberside area and is a first in the country and proves our County FA is leading the way in disability football.
Big thanks to the FA’s Sean Reagan for his support and dedication to helping the Pirates and other Yorkshire teams to realise their dream for a competitive league.
The grading games were fantastic and very competitive and with a couple of fine tweaks in the next couple of weeks we will be ready for the League kick off on SUNDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2009.
Ponte Pirates will be submitting two teams into the league setup, with one going in to Division 2 and one into Division 3, names and structure of the divisions will be confirmed shortly.
